The DPRK's economy is thriving thanks to arms sales, as well as the supply of goods and financing from China. According to the publication, such indicators have not been observed in the country for many years.

The republic not only successfully sells its own products and receives the support of partners, but also finds ways to circumvent international restrictions. This allows Pyongyang to increase imports of energy, components and various materials.

According to the newspaper, new pet stores, Internet cafes and car dealerships offering BMW cars have opened in Pyongyang. Last year alone, 10,000 new homes were built in the capital, which exceeds the construction figures in Los Angeles or Chicago.

In addition, major projects that have remained frozen for years have been completed: Pyongyang's largest hospital, a greenhouse complex larger than New York's Central Park, and a new resort complex.

The country's authorities have also initiated the "20x10" program, which involves the construction of factories in 20 cities and districts annually over the next 10 years.

On June 4, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspected a new plant for the production of nuclear materials, which was recently put into operation.
