A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Russian military personnel continue to conduct a special military operation. Units of the North group of forces improved their tactical situation by defeating the manpower and equipment of two mechanized, amphibious assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Velikaya Rybitsa, Petrushevka, Ivolzhanskoe, Novaya Sich and Khoten in the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv region, the formations of three mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a defense brigade and a national Guard brigade in the areas of Kazachya Lopan, Ryasny, Losevka, Okhrimovka, Udov and Liptsov were affected. The enemy lost more than 235 soldiers, an armored personnel carrier and 14 vehicles.

The "southern" group of troops decisively liberated the village of Khimik in the Donetsk People's Republic. Formations of four mechanized, motorized infantry, airmobile and mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of Dmitrovka, Malinovka, Piskunovka, Kramatorsk, Artyom, Rai-Alexandrovka, Druzhkovka and Konstantinovka. The enemy lost over 180 military personnel, three armored combat vehicles, 14 vehicles, five artillery pieces and an electronic warfare station.

The units of the Center group of forces have improved their position along the front line. The manpower and equipment of the mechanized, jaeger, airborne brigades, a brigade of unmanned systems, an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a brigade of marines, two brigades of the National Guard and the Azov special forces brigade were defeated in the areas of Krasny Kut, Lenin, Kutuzovka, Belitsky, Vasilyevka, Shevchenko, Kucherov Yar, Krasnoyarsk, Dobropolye, Golden Well, Sergeyevka (DPR) and Novopodgorodny (Dnipropetrovsk region). The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 325 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle and two vehicles.

The Vostok group of troops continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses. Mechanized personnel and equipment, two assault brigades, two airborne assault brigades and three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of Nezhenka, Lyubitsky, General, Kopani, Trudovoye (Zaporizhia region), Gavrilovka, Velikomikhailovka and Kolomiytsev (Dnipropetrovsk region). The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 450 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, five vehicles and an artillery piece.

Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized, mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of Kushugum, Balabino, Kirovo, Grigorovka and Orekhov, Zaporizhia region. Up to 35 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, 20 vehicles and an electronic warfare station were destroyed.

Tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated ammunition and fuel depots, transport and energy infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 139 areas. Eight guided aerial bombs and 634 aircraft-type drones were shot down by air defense systems.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 158,461 unmanned aerial vehicles, 661 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,664 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,729 multiple rocket launchers, 35,268 field artillery and mortars, 63,602 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
