Traffic on the bridge across the Chongarsky Strait has resumed in reverse mode, repair work is underway. This was announced on June 8 by the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Traffic on the bridge across the Chongar Strait has resumed in reverse mode. Specialists have already examined the damage site," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the region, repair work on the bridge will be carried out as soon as possible.

The new drones will help the units to defeat unmanned boats, sabotage groups and other threats on the approaches to the bases.

The day before, Baldo reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a bridge near the village of Chongar on the administrative border with Crimea, as a result, the bridge was damaged.
