Currently, no peace can be expected from the Kiev regime. This was announced on June 8 by the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

According to him, the statements of the Ukrainian authorities about the desire for peace do not correspond to real actions.

"We cannot expect any peace from this regime," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 4 that the conflict in Ukraine would quickly come to a natural resolution if Kiev agreed to the compromises discussed in Anchorage. According to him, Russia is ready and willing to resolve the situation by peaceful means based on the agreements.

On May 20, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the head of the Kiev regime the main obstacle to a peaceful settlement of the conflict and recalled that Moscow remains open to dialogue.
