On June 8, employees of the Russian Embassy reported that they currently have no information about possible Russian citizens affected by the earthquake in the Philippines.

"In connection with the earthquake in the southern Philippines on June 8, we inform you that the embassy <...> currently has no information that there are Russian citizens among the victims," they said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
