Verstappen pulled out of the Monaco Grand Prix race due to a car breakdown
Four-time world champion, Dutch Red Bull team driver Max Verstappen prematurely completed his performance at the Formula 1 championship stage of the Monaco Grand Prix on June 7.
Verstappen started the race from second position, but after the start his car abruptly lost speed and stopped. Due to a technical malfunction, the pilot rolled back to the last place, after which he entered the pits and stopped participating in the competition.
The Dutch racer is 28 years old. To date, he has won four championship titles in the Formula 1 class.
On June 5, British racing driver Lewis Hamilton from the Ferrari team became the leader of the second free practice of the sixth stage of the Formula 1 World Championship, the Monaco Grand Prix. Hamilton completed 34 laps, showing the best time of 1 minute 13.026 seconds. His teammate Charles Leclair was second with 0.111 seconds behind, while the Dutchman Max Verstappen from Red Bull was third (+0.168).
