The turnout in the Armenian elections three hours before the polls closed was 48.92%
As of 17:00 (16:00 Moscow time), the turnout in the next parliamentary elections in Armenia was 48.92%. This was reported by the agency on June 7. News.am with reference to the statement of CEC member Zhirayr Karapetyan.
1,224,957 voters took part in the voting. As of 17:00, 40.15% of voters (412,168 people) voted in Yerevan, 42.67% (46,216 people) in the second largest city of Armenia, Gyumri, and 47.9% (44,928 people) in the third largest city, Vanadzor.
The authors of the material noted that at the early elections to the National Assembly held in June 2021, the turnout as of 17:00 was 38.52%.
