Brad Pitt may be added to the database of the Peacemaker website

In Ukraine, they are discussing the possibility of adding American actor Brad Pitt to the database of the extremist Ukrainian website Peacemaker. This was reported by the newspaper "Paragraph" in the Telegram channel.

The reason for the criticism of the actor was the reaction to the victory of Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva at the Roland Garros tournament. The published footage shows how Pitt was one of the first to rise from his seat and began applauding the athlete.

Thus, the publication reacted to a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter), which jokingly suggests that the actor may later be added to the Peacemaker database and boycotted. As the newspaper notes, Ukrainian users began to seriously discuss the imposition of sanctions against the actor.

There have been no official statements on the adoption of any decision.

Earlier on June 2, comedian Alexei Shcherbakov was added to the Mirotvorets database for financing Russian military units and publicly supporting a special military operation. In addition, Shcherbakov was accused of allegedly "encroaching on the sovereignty" of Ukraine, as well as crimes against the republic and its citizens.
