Antonelli wins third practice at the Monaco Grand Prix
On June 6, Mercedes Italian racer Kimi Antonelli showed the best result in the second free practice session of the sixth stage of Formula 1, the Monaco Grand Prix at the Monte Carlo city circuit.
Antonelli completed the lap in 1 minute, 12.720 seconds. Monegasque Charles Leclair from Ferrari showed the second time with a lag of 0.327 seconds, and his British teammate Lewis Hamilton became the third (+0.331).
15 minutes before the end of the session, practice was interrupted with a red flag due to an incident with British Haas team pilot Oliver Berman, who crashed into a wall and damaged the car.
Qualifying will take place later on Saturday to determine the starting grid for the main race scheduled for Sunday.
On May 24, Antonelli became the winner of the fifth stage of the Formula 1 Grand Prix World Championship, which takes place in Canada. The second place was taken by British racer Lewis Hamilton from the Ferrari team, he was 10.768 seconds behind the winner.
