A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. As a result of active actions, the North group of troops established control over the settlement of Shevchenko in the Kharkiv region and defeated formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The enemy lost up to 210 men, a tank and six vehicles.

The western group of troops has taken more advantageous positions and frontiers. Ukrainian formations in the Kharkiv region and the DPR were defeated. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 180 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, 24 vehicles and two field artillery pieces.

The military personnel of the southern group of forces improved their tactical position and hit the enemy in the areas of the DPR settlements. The enemy lost over 175 militants, a Leopard tank manufactured by Germany, four armored combat vehicles, including an M113 armored personnel carrier manufactured by the United States, 17 vehicles and four field artillery guns.

Units of the Center group of forces improved their position along the front line, and also hit Ukrainian formations in the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to over 280 people, six armored combat vehicles, 10 vehicles and two field artillery guns, including a 155 mm Paladin self-propelled artillery system made in the USA.

The Vostok group of troops continued to move into the depth of the enemy's defenses. Ukrainian Armed Forces units were defeated in a number of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. The enemy lost over 385 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, three vehicles and an artillery piece.

The fighters of the Dnepr group of forces defeated the formations of the Armed Forces brigades in the areas of the settlements of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions. More than 45 militants, 17 vehicles and three electronic warfare stations were destroyed.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated production, storage, launch sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, fuel, transport and port infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 153 areas.

Air defense systems shot down 13 guided aerial bombs, four US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 911 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
