Midfielder of the Russian national football team Alexei Miranchuk said on Friday, June 5, that he was very happy to score a goal against Burkina Faso after the transfer of Anton Miranchuk's brother.

"As for the assist from Anton, it's been a long time since the last one. Getting an assist from my brother in the national team is above everything else I could have dreamed of when I was a kid. I am very happy about this," TASS quoted the footballer as saying.

The meeting of the Russian national team with the Burkina Faso team took place on June 5 in Volgograd and ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the Russians. Lechi Sadulaev scored the first goal of the match. In addition, Miranchuk and Ilya Vakhania were among the Russian national team.

The RFU press service reported on May 18 that the coaching staff of the Russian national football team has decided on the squad for the summer series of friendly matches. Four goalkeepers were entrusted with the goal: Denis Adamov from Zenit, Anton Mitryushkin (Lokomotiv), Stanislav Agkatsev (Krasnodar) and Alexander Maksimenko (Spartak). The forwards are Konstantin Tyukavin (Dynamo), Dmitry Vorobyov (Lokomotiv) and Georgy Melkadze (Akhmat).
