One person was killed in a two-car accident in the city of Chita. This was reported on June 6 in the press service of the State traffic Inspectorate of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
"According to preliminary data, a Mercedes and a Honda Fit collided on Lenin Street at about 05:00 (June 5, 23:00 Moscow time)," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the driver of the Mercedes car was driving under the influence of alcohol. The press service added that specialists are working at the scene. All details of the incident are being established.
On June 6, eyewitnesses told Izvestia that a car and a motorcycle collided on Liteyny Prospekt in St. Petersburg, injuring a biker. The accident happened when the driver of the car began to maneuver on the road while the motorcyclist was moving in a straight line. The impact threw the biker into the air, after which he flew several meters forward.
