A motorcyclist was injured after a collision with a car in St. Petersburg.
A car and a motorcycle collided on Liteyny Prospekt in St. Petersburg, injuring a biker. This was reported on June 6 by eyewitnesses to Izvestia.
The accident happened when the driver of the car began to maneuver on the road while the motorcyclist was moving in a straight line. The impact threw the biker into the air, after which he flew several meters forward.
Eyewitnesses of the incident said that the driver of the sedan did not provide assistance to the victim after the collision, but began shouting at him.
Soon, paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident. Doctors hospitalized the injured man with a suspected broken arm.
On June 5, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 312 road accidents had been recorded on Russian roads over the past day, in which 29 people were killed and 367 injured. 25 of the dead were drivers and passengers. As a result of 74 accidents involving pedestrians, four people were killed, and 74 more were injured in various degrees of severity.
