The State Duma proposed a number of measures to reduce the burden on teachers

Consolidating the list of exceptional information that can be requested from teachers, publishing statistics on school websites, and establishing a moratorium on the introduction of new reports would help reduce the burden on teachers. This was announced on May 5 by Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (LDPR party) on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"Of course, the bureaucratic burden on teachers should be reduced. How to do it? First, you can enter an exceptional list of what schools can request, in particular, various institutions, from military enlistment offices to universities. Limit everything to 15 points," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

In addition, Chernyshov suggested creating more comprehensive and informative school websites. According to him, at the moment, most of the requests to schools "from above" relate not to the educational process, but to data such as the number of available places in the first grades, students at school and graduates in grades 9 and 11. If such statistical information is regularly published on school websites in a convenient format, many departments and organizations will be able to obtain the necessary data on their own, rather than creating an additional burden on principals and teachers, he said.

The Vice Speaker of the State Duma also proposed to establish a moratorium on the introduction of new reports without a preliminary analysis of existing regulations.

Students in grades 9-11 trust their teacher more, but they use neural networks more often when preparing for exams.
