HC Salavat Yulaev announced the departure of defender Alexei Vasilevsky

Alexey Vasilevsky, defender of the Salavat Yulaev hockey club, will leave the team after the expiration of his contract. This was announced on June 5 by the Ufa club's press service.

"Alexey Vasilevsky is leaving Salavat Yulaev after the expiration of his contract. Our club thanks Alexey for his selfless game and wishes him good luck in his future career!" — follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.

Vasilevsky made his debut in the club's system in 2009, playing his first match for Tolpar. In the 2012/2013 season with Toros, the defender became the champion of the VHL, and in the 2024/2025 season he became the bronze medalist of the KHL with Salavat Yulaev.

According to Sport-Express, in the 2025/26 season, the hockey player scored seven points in 50 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) championship matches. Vasilevsky provided two assists in 10 Gagarin Cup games.

On March 13, the KHL announced the departure of 56-year-old Evgeny Koreshkov, coach of the Traktor Chelyabinsk hockey club. Koreshkov has been a member of the team's coaching staff since November 21, 2025. On December 16, he became the head coach of Chelyabinsk. Under his leadership, HC took the sixth place in the Eastern Conference table.
