Magnetic storms are predicted on Earth next week due to a coronal hole in the Sun. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Friday, June 5.

"On June 11-12, there will be a storm from the coronal hole. But the road is still completely green," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that on June 5, a G1–G2 magnetic storm is expected on Earth. 360.ru .

It was clarified that the effect of plasma from the first of three solar flares is recorded. Initial calculations predicted the clouds would merge into one on their way to Earth, but this scenario was not confirmed, RT reports.

A "black explosion" occurred on the Sun on June 3. According to the scientists of the IKI RAS, the luminary threw out a cloud of neutral hydrogen, which does not allow solar radiation to pass through. They explained that the light from the star is completely consumed by the ionization of this substance.
