Dodik reported on the endless pressure of the West on Russia
Western countries will never stop putting pressure on Russia. This was announced on June 5 by former President of the Serbian Republic Milorad Dodik in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Anton Zolotnitsky.
"The West will always seek to exert pressure. But Russia has shown that these sanctions have hit the EU countries almost harder than Russia itself," Dodik said.
According to him, sometimes the West, at any opportunity, will be negatively disposed towards Russia and especially towards the Serbian people in the Balkans, who are considered a close ally of Moscow.
Dodik also stressed that today the European Union has transformed from a political community into a military one. At the same time, Europe has fallen into economic decline, and its existence is largely connected with Russia, but they do not want to talk to it on a full-fledged basis.
Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Europeans should abandon the colonial approach and talk to Russia as an equal partner. He also called on Europe to work with Russia to find solutions to "very difficult issues" that are necessary for both Moscow and the eurozone states.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Izvestia on May 27 that the moment would come in the future to discuss Europe's security architecture, and it would be necessary to talk about it with the Europeans. He added that Europe "understands itself" the need for dialogue with Russia, but "it has only now begun to mature." Peskov also stressed that Putin is open to negotiations with Europe.
