NASA has allowed its astronauts to return to the ISS.
The US space agency NASA has allowed its astronauts to return to the International Space Station (ISS) while repairs are suspended there. This was announced on June 5 by agency representative Bethany Stevens.
"I gave my astronauts on board the Dragon spacecraft an order to stop the execution of evacuation measures and return to the planned work on board the ISS," she wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
Earlier that day, Roscosmos cosmonauts discovered two sources of leakage in the Zvezda module of the International Space Station (ISS), one of which has already been successfully sealed.
Earlier in the day, astronauts on the ISS were ordered to transfer to the ship and prepare for evacuation. It was clarified that the evacuation was announced due to an air leak in one of the segments of the station.
