Rosneft has signed agreements with the regions in the field of automotive tourism development

On the sidelines of SPIEF 2026, Rosneft signed agreements with three regions of Russia in the field of domestic auto tourism development, the company's press service reported. Memoranda were signed with the governments of the Tula and Smolensk regions, as well as with the Udmurt Republic.

The agreements envisage the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at developing the tourism potential of the regions and implementing the objectives of the national Tourism and Hospitality project. It is planned to develop and place main tourist routes running through the iconic points of the region on a special information and service platform "Horizons of Russia". It allows car tourists to choose and plan a route to interesting places through the infrastructure of the Rosneft gas station.

Rosneft and the Tula Region Tourism Development Agency have already presented three jointly developed routes in the region. Motor travelers will be able to see the main regional attractions, including the Tula Kremlin, Kazanskaya Embankment, the Museum Quarter and Yasnaya Polyana, as well as the legendary Kulikovo Field. Information about the routes is posted on the Tula tourist information portal, at Rosneft gas stations in the region, as well as on the Horizons of Russia platform.

An agreement was also signed with the Udmurt Republic, providing for the continuation of a strategic partnership in the field of creating comfortable conditions for road travelers and promoting the tourism potential of the region. The parties agreed on joint projects in the field of domestic tourism and the expansion of services for travelers at the Bashneft gas station (part of the Rosneft retail network).

Rosneft and the Udmurt Republic have been actively cooperating in the development of auto tourism since 2023. During this time, a number of major joint initiatives and events have been implemented. So, in 2024, a tourist car rally to the homeland of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky took place. A convoy of 100 cars drove from Izhevsk to the composer's museum in Votkinsk.

The memoranda signed as part of SPIEF 2026 provide for further expansion of cooperation between the company and the region and an increase in the level of comfort for customers at Rosneft gas station roadside service facilities. Today, the company has 40 gas stations in the Tula region, and more than 70 in the Smolensk region.
