The presentation of the new Esteo MX crossover was held in St. Petersburg

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Russian car brand Esteo presented its new MX crossover. The AGR Holding's press service announced this in its Telegram channel on June 5.

Acceptance of orders for the brand's debut model will open on its official website in the near future, representatives of the holding said. Production of the Esteo MX started on May 21 at the plant in Shushary as part of a partnership between AGR Holding and the Chinese company Defetoo.

Esteo becomes the second automobile brand after Jeland (both Russian), the production of which is organized at the automobile plant in Shushary (a former GM enterprise).

The Esteo MX crossover is based on the Exeed MX model. The car is equipped with a two-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 197 hp, a classic eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The ground clearance is 210 mm.

Esteo is the fourth joint project of the Russian holding AGR and the Chinese company Defetoo after Tenet, Jeland and Tenet Plus. As reported on June 2, the Tenet T8 crossover in a new five-seat version will enter production at the AGR Holding plant in Kaluga.
