Businessman Jared Kushner and special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff are not expected to visit Russia in the near future. This was announced to journalists on June 5 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"No, it is not expected," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), held telephone talks with Witkoff and Kushner on June 3. Haute noted that the parties are in constant dialogue, during which the American side expresses its readiness to contribute to a peaceful settlement.

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on May 20 that the issue of Witkoff and Kushner's visit to Moscow should be resolved bilaterally. At the same time, as Ushakov said in an interview with Izvestia, the exact dates of the visit are not yet known.
