Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026) on June 5. Izvestia is broadcasting.

The plenary session will traditionally be the central event of the forum. As announced by Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, Putin will deliver a major speech.

The main part of the speech is devoted to economic issues, both domestic and international. In addition, the Russian leader will pay attention to political issues. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Putin will also talk about his vision for the country's further development.

After the speech of the President of the Russian Federation, foreign participants will present their reports, among them: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Deputy Chairman of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng and others.

The meeting was moderated by India Today journalist Geeta Mohan.
