Pskov Caves Monastery shelters orphaned jays
Orphaned jays, who were sheltered in the Pskov courtyard "Bird Yard", moved to the Pskov Caves Monastery. This is reported in the organization's group on the VKontakte social network.
"Friends, do you remember when we raised five chicks? They grew up, got stronger, but became tame, they were fed by hand, in every beak. It's time to let them out, we were thinking where to go," said the staff of the farmstead.
At the same time, the monastery called the Bird's Yard, the Pskov News Feed writes. Father Alexey, with whom the farmstead has been cooperating for many years, said that they would be happy to welcome birds. Previously, squirrels and storks were given to him.
There are many trees growing on the territory of the monastery. Birds will be able to live in the wild, but under supervision and safe. Now the kids are with the clergy and live in a spacious aviary.
