A man killed a pregnant girl in the east of Moscow. This was reported on June 5 in the Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the capital.

"In the apartment of a residential building located on Altayskaya Street in Moscow, the body of a 28-year-old girl was found in a state of pregnancy with signs of violent death in the form of strangulation. An acquaintance of the victim was detained on suspicion of committing this crime," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to Izvestia, she was four months pregnant. Investigative actions are being carried out with the suspect. A criminal case has been opened under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a woman who is obviously pregnant for the perpetrator").
