Zakharova accused the Kiev regime of genocide of the population of Ukraine

The actions of the Kiev authorities and the Western countries supporting them have caused serious damage to the culture and population of Ukraine, which is genocide. This was announced on June 5 by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"This is a monstrous phenomenon of the modern world — what is being done to the citizens of Ukraine and, in fact, to ethnic Ukrainians by those who call themselves the Kiev regime and, of course, its Western sponsors. In fact, this is genocide. The population of Ukraine is being wiped out, the historical experience that this people has is being erased," the diplomat stressed in an interview with TASS.
