The US House of Representatives has approved a bill on assistance to Ukraine and the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia. This was reported on June 4 by CBS News TV channel with reference to the voting data.

"The bill was passed by 226 votes to 195. He was supported by Democrats and more than a dozen Republicans," the agency noted.

The document was initiated by Democrat Gregory Mix from New York and was promoted through a petition to put the bill to a vote. The decisive 218th place for consideration was taken by independent Congressman Kevin Kiely from California. The petition was also signed by all Democrats and two Republicans, Don Bacon and Brian Fitzpatrick.
