Fighters of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed a stronghold of a simulated enemy at the Southern Military District training ground

Military personnel who signed the first contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation destroyed a stronghold of a simulated enemy during practical exercises at the training ground of the Southern Military District. This was reported on June 5 in the press service of the Southern Military District.

It is noted that the exercises were conducted under the guidance of experienced instructors participating in a special military operation. The servicemen practiced interaction as part of combat tactical groups in the performance of tasks, tactical movement, the destruction of firing points, as well as the storming of positions and fortifications of the "enemy."

"Today we are practicing tactical skills and fire damage to the enemy in a populated area or in trenches. <...> We are training them and are already working either one at a time or in twos. First, they learn to pass idly, that is, without live firing, then one at a time, and then as part of two," said the instructor with the call sign Fizruk.

According to the press service of the Southern Military District, a unique training and material base has been created for training at the training ground, which completely repeats the enemy's positions: dugouts, bends in trenches and blocked gaps. For realism, imitation devices were used in the classroom: blank ammunition, explosive packages, stun grenades and smoke.

It is specified that such classes are included in the mandatory general military training course, which is attended by all military personnel who have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the first time.

On June 4, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that in Kamchatka, crews of Ka-29 transport and combat helicopters of the mixed aviation regiment of naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet completed a training mission to destroy a sabotage group of a simulated enemy. During the planned tactical flight exercises, the crews worked out actions to destroy sabotage and reconnaissance groups using aircraft weapons.
