- A paramedic was injured when an ambulance and a truck collided in the Moscow region
A truck and an ambulance collided in the Dmitrov municipal district. A paramedic was injured in the accident. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region on Thursday, June 4.
The traffic accident occurred at approximately 22:00 on 49 km of the A104 highway.
"As a result of the accident, a paramedic born in 2000 was injured, she was taken to a medical facility," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message.
Currently, traffic police officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, on May 5, two paramedics were injured in a collision between an ambulance and a passenger car in the Serpukhov city district. The injured were taken to a medical facility.
In turn, paramedic Vladlena Berezovskaya told what actions to avoid so as not to harm a person who has been in an accident, RT reports. She noted that if the car is not on fire and the person is breathing, there is no need to touch him. If there is heavy bleeding, the wound should not be rinsed — a tourniquet should be applied immediately. The paramedic also warned against taking painkillers or alcohol. For example, aspirin for internal bleeding will only accelerate it.
