- ROSSETI will allocate 13 billion rubles for the development of the Ugra electric grid complex
This year, ROSSETI will increase its investments in the development of the Ugra electric grid complex to 13 billion rubles. This was announced by the head of the group, Andrey Ryumin, at a working meeting with Ruslan Kukharuk, Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, held at the SPIEF 2026 site.
The key theme of the event was the implementation of infrastructure projects for socio-economic development and increasing the investment attractiveness of the region.
"Cooperation with the ROSSETI Group is an important element of our development strategy. Investments in the electric grid have a direct impact on the stability of the Ugra economy and the quality of life of people. This is a serious step towards strengthening the energy security of the region," Kuharuk said.
Ryumin stressed that the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is a key oil production region of strategic importance for the country. "Energy companies are contributing to its development by providing capacity for growing production. Improving the reliability of the network infrastructure is also a priority, which is especially important in the harsh northern climate," added Rosseti CEO.
He noted that special attention is being paid to the development of a distribution complex that provides electricity to the population, social infrastructure facilities and industry. In May, a subsidiary of ROSSETI Tyumen started construction of a substation and a 110 kV power transmission line. These energy facilities will provide additional capacity for the development of the Ust‑Balykskoye field, one of the largest in Western Siberia, Rosseti explained.
