Striker Alexander Galchenyuk has signed a contract with Spartak Moscow hockey club. This was announced by the team's press service on June 4.

The agreement with the 32-year-old striker is for two years. Galchenyuk previously played in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for SKA St. Petersburg and Amur Khabarovsk, where he played under the guidance of his father Alexander Galchenyuk Sr.

"Welcome Alexander Galchenyuk to Spartak Moscow, we wish our newcomer many victories and a great game in the red and white team!" the club's website says.

HC Spartak terminated the contract with goalkeeper Alexander Georgiev on June 2 at the initiative of the player. It is noted that the club retains the rights to Georgiev for another five years until the end of the 2030/31 season.
