In Yakutsk, a businessman, the owner of a shawarma stand, was accused of gross violations of sanitary standards. The company's activities have been suspended for 90 days by a court decision.

According to IA YakutiaMedia with reference to the Joint Press Service of the Courts of Yakutia, in May, a woman and her son were poisoned with shawarma from a kiosk. The child had to spend two days in intensive care.

The Department of Rospotrebnadzor conducted an audit of the IP's activities after receiving a signal from the Yakutsk Republican Clinical Hospital, where the child turned out to be. As a result, it turned out that the sanitary and epidemiological requirements for catering for the population were grossly violated at the enterprise. In particular, there was no production control, there were no technological maps for the dishes, the products arrived without labeling, the walls and floor of the kiosk itself were dirty, and the water did not meet the requirements.

The owner of the establishment did not appear in court and did not file petitions. However, the defense admitted its guilt and stated that all claims had been eliminated. Representatives of the sole proprietors asked not to suspend work due to damage to employees.
However, taking into account the harm to health caused, including to the child, the IP's activities were suspended for 90 days.

Earlier it was reported that in Khabarovsk, the confectionery shop was suspended for 60 days. Several people who consumed the products of this workshop were diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection.
