A three-year-old child crashed to his death on a pit bike in the Moscow region

In one of the cottage settlements of Domodedovo near Moscow, a three-year-old child crashed to his death on a pit bike. This was reported on June 4 by a source of Izvestia.

"When faced with an obstacle, the boy flew out of the seat and hit his head, suffering life—threatening injuries," the source explained.

The Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation clarified that an 11-year—old schoolboy was driving a pit bike - he was riding another boy. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.

It is rare to be sentenced to actual terms of imprisonment in such cases, lawyers say.

A teenager who was driving a pit bike died in a collision with a Gazelle on May 26 in the Ramenskoye municipal District. According to preliminary information, a 12-year-old child, driving a pit bike, collided with a truck when leaving a secondary road onto the main road.

On May 22, the State Traffic Inspectorate reminded parents of the need to exclude minors from accessing motor vehicles and sports equipment, including pit bikes.
