The head of AmCham announced the holding of a hockey match between Russia and the United States on July 1.

A hockey match between Russian and American players will be held on July 1 in Moscow, Robert Agee, head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham), said on June 4 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"I am very pleased to announce that we will host the first hockey game to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. A hockey match will be held in Moscow on July 1," he said during the Russia–USA: Dialogue of Cultures session.

Agee expressed hope that this match will contribute to the "melting of ice" between the countries.
