Bank ROSSIYA and Leningrad Region have agreed on a long-term partnership

On June 4, Bank ROSSIYA and the Government of the Leningrad Region signed a cooperation agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026). The partnership provides for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at promoting the socio-economic development of the Leningrad Region.

The agreement was signed by Mikhail Klishin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank ROSSIYA, and Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region.

The cooperation is aimed at strengthening and further developing effective financial, operational and investment mechanisms that contribute to the modernization of the Leningrad Region's industry, the introduction of innovative solutions, and the implementation of investment, infrastructural and socially significant projects in the region.

The parties already have a successful experience of cooperation: in 2025, with the financial support of the Bank, 15 ambulances were delivered to the Leningrad region for medical and paramedic teams of the GBUZ LO "Ambulance Station". It is also planned to develop cooperation in this area in the future.

"Cooperation with the Leningrad Region is a combination of government priorities and banking expertise. We intend to actively participate in the creation of a modern industrial and social infrastructure in the region. By combining our operational capabilities with the administrative resources of the region, we are creating a platform for innovation and the implementation of the most complex investment projects, which will ultimately strengthen the economic sovereignty of the territory," commented Mikhail Klishin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank ROSSIYA.

"We have established good working relations with Bank ROSSIYA. Today we have strengthened and expanded them. This agreement is about specific things that residents will feel: new production facilities, modern infrastructure, and social projects. I am glad that together we can do a lot of useful things for the region and for the people," said Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region.

What else did the participants discuss on the first day of the forum and what do the guests expect from the main economic event of the year?

On the same day, Bank ROSSIYA signed an agreement with the Government of St. Petersburg for SPIEF 2026. The document provides for the pooling of resources in the financial and credit sphere, for the socio-economic development of the Northern Capital, as well as the joining of Bank ROSSIYA to the St. Petersburg Unified Card project.
