AvtoVAZ announced an increase in car sales in May

By the end of May 2026, sales of Lada passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia amounted to almost 27.5 thousand units, which is 7.3% higher than in May last year. The company's press service announced this in its Telegram channel on May 4.

In just five months of this year, 123.5 thousand new Lada cars were sold, the company estimated. According to AvtoVAZ's own estimate, Lada's market share in five months is more than 25%.

In April 2026, AvtoVAZ sold 31.2 thousand cars, which is more than 12% higher than the result of March of the same year, as well as more than 4% higher than April 2025.
