In Kamchatka, crews of Ka-29 transport and combat helicopters of the mixed aviation regiment of naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet completed a training mission to destroy a sabotage group of a simulated enemy. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 4.

During the planned tactical flight exercises, the crews worked out actions to destroy the sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a simulated enemy using aircraft weapons.

"My crew took off, went to the coastal zone, found a sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) and successfully destroyed it with small arms and cannon weapons," said the commander of the Ka-29 helicopter with the call sign Vulkan.

At the training ground in the coastal area, a pair of Ka-29 helicopters carried out firing practice on ground targets. The crews used 23 mm GSH-23L aviation cannons and 80 mm unguided aircraft missiles. Also, as part of the exercises, the pilots practiced piloting at low altitudes in difficult weather conditions and over undirected terrain in the Pacific Ocean.

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced on June 3 that the system of a single contour of reconnaissance and strike complexes will be implemented in the work of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by September this year. This complex combines a system for ensuring information interaction and unites various users into a single contour.
