Buryatia sent 325 tons of cheese, yoghurts and milk to Mongolia
In the first five months of 2026, Buryatia exported 325 tons of Russian-made cheese, yoghurts and milk to Mongolia. This was reported by the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor regional office on Wednesday, June 3.
In total, from January to May, the agency issued 284 export veterinary certificates for products of animal origin, which were sent to Mongolia and China.
The largest share, 50%, was milk. In addition, 194 tons of fish and 46 tons of meat products were sent to Mongolia, and 56 tons of ossified deer antlers for making souvenirs were sent to China.
All shipments were inspected and shipped in accordance with the rules, writes IA UlanMedia. Laboratory tests were carried out before shipment, and the transport was disinfected with drugs against infectious animal diseases.
During the same period, inspectors inspected 1,784 tons of meat products and 128 tons of fish products for transportation within Russia. No violation of veterinary legislation was detected.
