In the Krymsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, residents of three settlements are being evacuated due to a partial overflow of the Kuban River through a dam in the area of the Zapadny farm. This was announced on June 3 at the regional operational headquarters.
It is specified that the population of Zapadny farm, Gvardeysky village, Urma farm and Yodnik farm are being taken out of the potentially dangerous zone. In total, about 180 people live in these territories. In municipalities, citizens are notified, including door-to-door visits.
"Three settlements are being evacuated in the Crimean region due to a partial overflow of the Kuban River through a dam in the area of the Zapadny farm," the Telegram channel said.
Currently, the overflow of water through the protective structure is being recorded on site. Emergency services are monitoring the situation in the Crimean region.
The day before, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported that an emergency regime had been introduced in a number of settlements in the Crimean region due to overflowing water from the Kuban riverbed and the threat of flooding. In municipalities where there is a risk of flooding after heavy rainfall, rescue teams have been reinforced and flood monitoring continues.
