Singer Ani Lorak announced the cancellation of concerts in three Russian cities.
Concerts of singer Anya Lorak in Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will not take place. She announced this on Instagram on June 3 (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned).
"I was looking forward to meeting you in Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Khabarovsk, but unfortunately, for reasons beyond my control, concerts with the Aura show in these cities will not take place," she wrote.
According to the singer's representatives, the holding of these three performances was not coordinated by local governments and regional administrations. They noted that they had done everything necessary to organize and hold the events, but no approval was received based on the results of the appeals.
In some cases, formal reasons were indicated in the refusals. At the same time, in Vladivostok, according to representatives of the singer, a direct order was received from the head of the city to cancel the event under the pretext of false facts from the biography of the artist.
Tickets will be refunded at the place of purchase, and all funds will be refunded in full. Representatives of Lorak apologized to the audience who bought tickets.
On June 24 last year, Russian singer Dima Bilan announced the cancellation of a concert in Sochi, which was scheduled to take place on June 25, due to vocal cord problems. Bilan explained that if he doesn't take a break now, he may fall off the schedule for several weeks later.
