According to Poklad, the main task is to demonstrate him as a man who loved animals and children, as well as a reformer who brought many changes to circus and theatrical art. The actor concluded that the play introduces the viewer to the structure of the theater and its rules, rather than retelling a biography.

Vladimir Durov is a zoopsychologist who was the first in the world to propose a method based on encouraging an animal rather than punishing it, the publication says. Since 2022, tetra has been headed by Natalia Durova, who replaced the father of People's Artist of Russia Yuri Durov. The team of Grandpa Durov's Corner consists of many trainers, and each animal has its own mentor. There are three stages located on Durova Street, which are within walking distance of each other. The play "The Road is a Century Long" is on the new stage, it opened in 2021, includes a 13-meter-diameter arena, as well as comfortable rooms for animals. This space is considered to be the most technically equipped.

"The design is changing: the light, sound, and appearance of the halls. But the main thing remains: Vladimir Durov was not a trainer, but a mentor. His covenant — that animals should never be touched by a finger — is always alive, and everything else is transitory," Durova concluded.
