Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), commented on the mass protest in the UK against the actions of the police and noted that the country is "waking up."

"Great Britain is waking up," he wrote on his page on the social network X.

Dmitriev's comment followed the publication of a video of the protest, which shows how the crowd shouts to the police "On your knees!", but the law enforcement officers do not comply with the demands of the demonstrators.

A patriotic march under the slogan Unite the Kingdom, as well as a pro-Palestinian march, are taking place in London on May 16. Thousands of police officers ensure order on the streets, patrol cars and paddy wagons are involved. A police helicopter is watching the movement of the columns from the air. London police detained 31 people at the protests. One of the protesters shared that she opposes the ideology of the left and their "vook" agenda (a political term that means propaganda of social, racial and sexual justice).
