Rosaviation lifted restrictions from the Azur Air operator's certificate

The Federal Air Transport Agency has lifted restrictions on the Azur Air operator's certificate. This was announced on June 2 by the agency following the results of the inspections.

"According to the results of the inspection, three aircraft from the airline's fleet will not be operated yet — the boroscopy revealed deviations in the parameters of their engines. The remaining aircraft of the carrier — six cars — are allowed to fly," Dmitry Yadrov, head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, is quoted as saying on the agency's Telegram channel.

To remove the restrictions, the airline, on the recommendation of the federal agency, conducted an internal audit of the divisions and took corrective measures. Evgeny Korolev, CEO of Azur Air, explained that the return of the three aircraft to service will take place in strict accordance with the new technical regulations approved by the airline based on the results of the audit.

In March, the Federal Air Transport Agency imposed restrictions on Azur Air flights after an unscheduled inspection. During an unscheduled inspection, Rospotrebnadzor revealed a number of violations of mandatory requirements of Russian airspace. Azur Aig was recommended to increase the safety level as soon as possible and conduct an internal airworthiness check.
