Large-scale landscaping works have been completed on one of the central streets of Murmansk. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the regional government.

We are talking about the pedestrian part of Leningradskaya Street, which opened a month and a half ago after reconstruction. In four days, more than 1.6 thousand spiraea bushes, 59 pines, 13 linden trees, eight viburnums and six mountain ash trees were planted on the section.

Earlier it was reported that the landing strategy was developed jointly with specialists from the Polar Alpine Botanical Garden Institute and landscape designers.

According to the news agency, in April of this year, reconstruction was completed on Leningradskaya Street, as part of which the street became almost completely pedestrian. It is assumed that cultural city events will be held regularly in this location.
