Arctic Trucks unveils a special off-road Haval H9 in Russia

Arctic Trucks Studio, known for off-road modifications of various vehicles, has introduced a special version of the Haval H9 frame model in Russia. The company shared details about the new product on its website on June 2.

The Haval H9 with the designation AT35 received a redesigned body geometry for the installation of large wheels with a diameter of 35 inches. The wheel arches were expanded and the ground clearance was increased to 274 mm. The front brackets for mounting the body to the frame have been upgraded and reinforced to install larger diameter wheels, and the standard door sills have also been modified while maintaining the factory mounting points.

17-inch aluminum wheels are installed (17- and 20-inch forged wheels are available on request), 35×12.5 R17 off—road tires designed for use on various types of pavement. The Mamba Racing adjustable suspension is used in the front, and the Panara adjustable traction is used in the rear. As a result of the improvements, the angles of entry and exit increased from 31° and 25° to 39° and 33°, respectively, and the track widened from 1635 to 1757 mm. The SUV also received branded arch extensions, fenders and mudguards. The standard two-liter 218-horsepower engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission has been retained.

Together with the Haval H9 AT35, there is a Vehicle Design Safety Certificate (SBCTS), which is necessary for the official operation of the vehicle in Russia. According to <url> Magazine, the studio estimates the completion of the existing H9 at 1.43 million rubles, and the finished car will sell at a price of 6.23 million rubles.
