A court in Moscow has arrested for two months a man who, during an argument, pushed a woman he knew out an open window. This was reported on June 2 in the press service of the GSU of the Investigative Committee for the capital.

"At the request of the investigators of the capital's Investigative Committee, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the accused," the agency said in a statement.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred on May 30 in an apartment building on Dmitrov highway. The person involved in the conflict pushed the woman who was at the open window. The victim fell from a height of the seventh floor and died on the spot from her injuries.

According to the press service, investigators and criminologists have completed an inspection of the scene. Witness statements and video surveillance recordings are attached to the case file. The suspect has been detained and officially charged.

On April 23, a man wounded his wife and shot her lover in the Volgograd region. According to the regional department of the Interior Ministry, the suspect broke into his opponent's home and shot him in the stomach with a hunting rifle.
