Applications for participation in the grant competition for socially oriented non-profit organizations have started in the capital. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger.

The support program is aimed at NGOs whose activities are aimed at solving significant social tasks: support for youth and families with children, assistance to veterans and participants in a special military operation, the development of volunteer and charitable initiatives, the preservation of historical heritage and cultural values, and animal protection. For its part, the city provides financial and organizational support to such associations, helping to implement socially important projects and expand their opportunities to work for the benefit of residents.

Both experienced non-profit organizations that have been operating for at least one year and newly established NGOs that were registered at least six months ago can participate in the grant competition. There are 12 competitive directions for applicants, covering a wide range of areas of urban life and development in Moscow. Applications will be accepted until July 2. One of the key innovations of the current competition is a special chatbot on the official website of the program. The digital assistant helps the participants to quickly navigate the competition conditions, explains the requirements for the documents and accompanies them at all stages of the application. In addition, an educational program has been prepared for potential participants, which will be implemented on the sites of a network of coworking centers for NGOs. It will include specialized webinars, practical face-to-face sessions with experts, as well as personal online consultations that allow you to prepare a competitive application with high quality and increase the chances of receiving support.

The grant program for socially oriented NGOs has been in existence since 2002. During this time, over 3,800 socially significant projects have received support.
