VTB talked about the development of AI services
VTB is focused on developing AI advisors that enable clients to maximize benefits and find suitable solutions for everyday tasks for themselves and their families. Olga Skorobogatova, First Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of VTB, spoke about this during SPIEF 2026.
AI agents at VTB work in two directions, Skorobogatova said. For a bank employee, they find the necessary data in the systems, take into account the context of the request and allow them to respond faster and better to customers. In client scenarios, an AI advisor helps to assemble an investment portfolio for a risk profile and prepare recommendations for a specific user.
"We are fundamentally changing the very concept of banking services. Finance is a tool, and life is a true value," Skorobogatova said. She emphasized that the digital advisor will help the client see opportunities in advance in solving vital issues, receive personalized offers with an emphasis on the client's benefits where finances and daily tasks intersect.
According to the top manager, the bank is preparing to launch a generative AI agent that will suggest options from ticket search to selection of hotels and tours. The service will become part of a full-fledged digital assistant in various life situations, travel will be one of the areas of its work.
