300 liters of counterfeit alcohol were seized in a fishing shop near Novosibirsk

Law enforcement officers discovered an underground point of sale of counterfeit alcohol and cigarettes in one of the fishing shops in the working village of Maslyanino, Novosibirsk region. This was reported on June 2 by the regional prosecutor's office.

"A large shipment of counterfeit alcohol and cigarettes was seized in a store located in the village of Maslyanino in the Maslyaninsky district of the Novosibirsk region," the Telegram channel said.

The police seized more than 300 liters of counterfeit alcohol without labels, as well as about 200 packs of cigarettes. The goods have been sent for examination.

On February 10, police officers liquidated an underground workshop for the production of vaping liquids in the Moscow Region. The cost of the seized products was estimated at almost 1 billion rubles. Criminal cases have been initiated under Part 6 of Article 171.1 ("Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products without labeling and/or applying information") and Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud").
