The United States declared the need to be an ally and partner of the Russian Federation

The United States should be Russia's ally and trading partner. This was announced on June 1 by former member of the U.S. House of Representatives Marjorie Taylor-Green.

"We should be friends, allies and trading partners with Russia and be much friendlier to the rest of the world. And leave our tax money at home to be spent on the needs of Americans, and stay away from foreign wars," she wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Taylor-Green expressed a corresponding opinion in response to the publication of American investigative journalist Candice Owens, who posted photos from her trip to Russia depicting Orthodox churches.

"Christian self-expression and heritage have no equal here. No wonder they're lying to us about Russia," the journalist captioned the photos.
