The Air defense forces shot down 33 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia

The Air Defense Forces shot down 33 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Russia. This was announced on June 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"During the day, from 08:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 33 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the message on the Maks messenger says.

It is noted that the UAVs were eliminated over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk regions and the Republic of Crimea.

On June 1, the ministry reported that the air defense forces had destroyed 233 Ukrainian UAVs in a day in the special military operation zone. It is noted that the drones were shot down over the territories by artillery, and missile forces of the Russian Armed Forces damaged energy, transport and port infrastructure facilities used by Ukrainian militants.
